Pasar Malam

Pasar Malam is about how, after being unceremoniously fired from a Michelin-starred restaurant, Chef Salihin Aziz makes an unexpected career pivot by joining his brother Yan at a humble burger stall in a local night market. Burgergar follows this journey of reinvention, resilience, and brotherhood as the stall earns its place among the night market stalwarts.

As a Post-Production Assistant, I specialise in bridging the gap between technical precision and creative audience engagement. I support editorial teams by streamlining internal communication and maintaining a rigorous quality control process—ensuring every graphic, credit sequence, and frame meets the highest standards before final delivery. Beyond the edit suite, I leverage my understanding of digital trends to drive brand growth, specifically by producing character-driven TikTok content designed to capture the attention of younger demographics

Badak

Badak is a film centred on the relationships between deaf parents and their hearing children, exploring themes of family, identity, and communication as one father navigates his daughter’s rise in the hip-hop scene while another struggles to connect with his deaf son.

As an Art Assistant for the pickup shoot, I supported visual continuity by dressing and preparing locations to match the established production design. I ensured props, set details, and spatial arrangements aligned with the film’s tone while assisting with on-set adjustments to maintain consistency during filming. Beyond the art department, I also contributed to marketing and post-production by supporting promotional materials and organising visual assets to ensure a cohesive visual identity.

Kopitiam Days (IZ-1)

Kopitiam Days is an anthology film featuring six stories set in a neighbourhood coffeeshop, celebrating Singapore’s diversity and sense of community. I worked on the IZ-1 segment, which explores themes of longing and familial bonds.

As a Production Assistant / 3rd Assistant Director, I shadowed the Assistant Director and supported on-set coordination. My role included relaying instructions between departments, assisting with talent and set readiness, managing logistics, and helping maintain the shooting schedule to ensure a smooth and efficient production workflow.
