Final year project

Life Begins with Leftovers is a youth-driven campaign created with Onn Wah Tech Pte LtdĀ that encourages young people to see composting as an easy, meaningful part of daily life. Through two light-hearted yet informative explainer videos, bite-sized social media content and two engaging posters, the project covers how to compost at home, why it matters, and the role of compostable food packaging. By blending humour with education, the campaign aims to spark real action and reduce landfill pressure, proving that life really does begin with leftovers.

As Director and Editor, I led the creative vision from concept to post-production, shaping youth-friendly storytelling that balanced humour, irony, and educational value for digital audiences. I directed the visual approach to maintain an energetic yet informative tone and crafted the final edits through pacing, comedic timing, graphics, and sound design. The videos clearly communicated key ideas, including home composting methods, environmental benefits, the role of compostable packaging, and the impact of reducing landfill waste. I also shaped the narrative and visual style to remain informative yet accessible. The mixed-media format was deliberately used to break down complex processes into visually digestible segments, supported by animated diagrams and graphics.
